ABOUT
It's Been a Journey
1900's
My Love for Art is Born
Equipped with a pencil, sketch book and a wicked permed mullet, my love of creating started early and never let up.
Early 2000's
A Place to Land
From Virginia Tech to a life-changing Philadelphia Eagles internship that made me fall in love with Philly, I was officially on my creative path. Armed with grit, ideas and an almost fully-developed frontal lobe, I knew I was where I needed to be.
2010
Taking a Leap
Torn Leaf Design was born. After gaining 8 years of corporate experience followed by agency work, I decided to take a chance on myself. It was both exciting and scary, but ultimately the best decision I ever made.
2010's
Just Livin'...L-I-V-I-N
Just doing life, making life and continuing to work and design on excessive amounts of caffeine and very little REM sleep.
2020-Present
No Slowing Down
These days I'm trying to be more intentional with my work, adopting some healthier sleep habits (kind of), and determined to grow with rather than out of an industry that is changing so much.
When jumping into a new project, “what if…” is my favorite place to start. Where it goes from there is half the fun. Not every idea needs a plan. Sometimes you just pull on the thread and see what unravels. It’s amazing what a little creative mischief can accomplish.

Bruno Catalano's Travelers Sculpture Installation on the Amalfi Coast is something that left me breathless when I saw it years back. While I'm the farthest thing from a sculptor, the balance of positive and negative space is something I dabble with in my own work whenever I can.
